How to Replace a LaunchPort WallStation with a Connect Pro WallStation
Upgrading your WallStation is a simple process. Here’s the step-by-step (Scroll down for Video instructions):
1. Remove iPad from the LaunchPort WallStation
2. Remove the cover plate
- Use a small flat-head screwdriver to carefully pry off the plate.
3. Unscrew the WallStation
- Remove the four installed screws.
- Leave the drywall anchors in place (you’ll reuse them).
4. Disconnect the wiring
- Unplug the green Phoenix connector from the LaunchPort WallStation.
5. Adapt the connection
- Insert the existing Phoenix connector into the provided Phoenix-to-TE connector.
- Plug the TE connector into the back of the CONNECT PRO WallStation.
6. Install the Connect Pro WallStation
- Position the WallStation upright and insert it back into the wall.
- Secure it using the four provided screws into the existing wall anchors.
- Do not fully tighten yet.
7. Level and tighten
- Ensure the WallStation is level, then finish tightening the screws.
8. Attach the cover plate
- Make sure the notches face towards the floor before snapping it into place.
9 Reattach the iPad
- Dock your iPad (with Connect Pro Case) into the Connect Pro WallStation — upgrade complete.
